Who can participate in this event?
Any undergraduate student with a valid .edu email address in the US can participate in this event.
Is this event online or in-person?
It's both! The event is hybrid so students from around the country can participate virtually and UF students can attend in person!
Do I need to register with a team?
You can sign up individually or in teams of up to four participants.
Where do I go for updates?
Check out our instagram page @gatoruserdesign and our Discord for tentative updates on Design-a-thon. @ufdesignathon will be active in the Spring semester as we approach the event!
Do I have to stay the whole event?
For both online and in-person students, attendance for the opening and closing ceremonies are mandatory. Other than that, you are not required to stay the whole duration of Design-a-thon, and can come and go as you please to get some rest, food, etc.
